Jane Strong and Jacob Wurtz started HFP in a kiosk in Tyrone Square Mall in 1985 selling Kenkoh Massage Sandals. Six months after they opened they brought in the then, little known Birkenstock sandal. The rest as they say is history.

They kept the kiosk open for 10 years as they opened store locations in other cities, and then eventually moved out of the mall. The St. Petersburg store is now located on 2755 Tyrone Blvd, next to Fed Ex on the frontage road.

Everyone who works at this store is trained to provide you with the best possible experience. First, you will step on to the Aetrex Foot Scanner to determine your foot size, and where your pressure points are. Next you will be put into a pair of Kenkoh massage sandals to relax your feet while they find the shoe that you are looking for.

At Happy Feet Plus we have footwear for all aspects of life. We even have a footwear philosophy – SSR . This stands for Strenthen, Support , and Revitalize.
